Originating from the island of Madagascar, this breed was named after the port city of Tulear, where it was favored by aristocrats. Coton de Tulears are friendly, sociable, and great with children, making them excellent family pets. They thrive on companionship and love to be involved in family activities.
BREED OWNER
Cotons have moderate exercise needs so about an hour of exercise a day should be enough. Puzzle toys are great for their bodies and minds, they do get easily bored without this stimulation. They are a hypoallergenic breed but do require a consistent grooming routine.
