HUSKY: A thickly coated, solid sled dog of medium size and extreme endurance.
BREED PERSONALITY
The independent Husky is mostly good-natured with everyone. He adores the outdoors and needs vigorous exercise, especially in cool weather. Most Huskies are friendly with other dogs, he has a huge prey drive and can destroy cats if not raised with them.
BREED OWNER
The Husky should go running, hiking, and/or biking every day, but always on-leash, for he is independent and lives to run. If something sparks his interest and he is off-leash, he'll be gone.Training a Husky is challenging because the headstrong Husky is prone to use his smarts in clever ways that suit his own purposes. Digging and howling (lots of howling!) are their favorite form of amusement.
