BREED PERSONALITY
Goldendoodles have loving personalities and are ever so willing to please, this makes them a popular choice for families. Goldendoodles are also great options for agility dogs, guide dogs, therapy dogs and search and rescue dogs.The Goldendoodle is a delightful hybrid breed created by crossing a Golden Retriever with a Poodle, typically known for their intelligence, friendly demeanor, and low-shedding coats. First bred in the late 1990s, they quickly gained popularity as both family pets and service dogs due to their affectionate nature and adaptability.
Goldendoodles come in various sizes—standard, medium, and miniature—depending on the Poodle parent. This versatility makes them suitable for a wide range of living situations, from apartments to larger homes. Their playful and social temperament means they thrive on human interaction and enjoy being part of family activities.
BREED OWNER
Goldendoodles are not “high-maintenance” dogs but do need adequate exercise daily, they love to go for walks, runs, hikes and swims. They are great house pets but do love to explore and play outside. They do not shed terribly but still need a good brushing regularly to prevent matting. They are smart, athletic and obedient so take very well to training.
