SHORKIE: THE ADORABLE MIX OF THE YORKSHIRE TERRIER AND SHIH TZU
BREED PERSONALITY
They don’t know that they are small with their spunky, playful and energetic temperament. Shorkies are also loving, warmhearted and brutally loyal and small enough to curl up in your lap and cuddle. Since the Shorkie is half terrier, they can be a bit high-strung and also highly bright. They also have a high prey drive due to the terrier in them which will lead to chasing small animals and digging.
BREED OWNER
The Shorkies small size makes them ideal for a small living space, but they will bark at the slightest disruption. Shorkies do better with older children then they do with a younger one because of their small size. Short walks and active play for about 30 minutes a day will keep them happy.
