BREED PERSONALITY

The Whippet has a sweet-nature and is docile, yet playful and athletic. While a Whippet will curl up under the blankets and sleep for hours, he will just as easily tear around the yard, darting and zigzagging and turning on a dime without slowing down. Whippet puppies can be naughty and destructive, but adults are calm and undemanding. They do love the luxury of being up on the furniture, so if this is not for you, you may reconsider. Whippets are nice to strangers, a bit stubborn but also very sensitive.

BREED OWNER

Whippets can live in a small space if you are willing to take them out for a good sprint a couple of times a day. They spend a lot of their time relaxing if given adequate exercise, they are quite pleasant and quiet inside. Whippets do not like being cold and canÕt stand hard surfaces. Whippets love human connection and snuggling in bed with you and are gentle and non-aggressive.
